Online Submissions
The International Journal of Research and Global Development (RIIDG) accepts manuscripts exclusively through its online editorial management platform. To submit a manuscript, authors must register on the journal's official website and follow the submission steps provided by the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

The submission process consists of the following stages:
- Author Registration: Create an account with the Author role on the journal platform.
- Submission Initiation: Select the appropriate journal section and confirm compliance with the journal's ethical standards and originality requirements.
- Upload of Manuscript and Supplementary Files: Upload the main manuscript (Microsoft Word format: .doc or .docx), along with tables, figures, authorship declarations, metadata, and any required supplementary materials.
- Metadata Entry: Complete the manuscript metadata, including title, abstract, keywords, author information, and institutional affiliations.
- Submission Confirmation: Verify all information and complete the submission to initiate the editorial review process.
The platform allows authors to monitor the status of their manuscripts in real time, receive editorial notifications, and respond to reviewers' comments during the review and production stages.
Authors are strongly encouraged to read the Author Guidelines carefully before submitting their manuscripts.

Authors wishing to publish in the International Journal of Research and Global Development (RIIDG) must carefully follow these guidelines before submitting their manuscripts.

General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original and must not be under consideration by another journal.
- Manuscripts are accepted in English and Spanish.
- Files must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

Citation and Reference Style
RIIDG follows the APA Publication Manual (7th Edition). All in-text citations and references must strictly comply with this standard.
Ethical Requirements
Authors must provide:
- Originality Statement
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure
- Informed Consent Statement (when applicable)
- Funding Statement (when applicable)
Authors are also encouraged to review the journal's Publication Ethics and Plagiarism Policy before completing their submission.
Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript.
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Research and Global Development (RIIDG) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, in which neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other's identities.
Review Process
Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial office verifies compliance with submission requirements, originality, scope, and relevance to the journal.
External Peer Review
Each manuscript is evaluated by two independent experts in the corresponding field, who assess:
- Scientific quality
- Methodological rigor
- Clarity of presentation
- Originality
- Relevance of references
- Contribution to knowledge
Review Recommendations
Reviewers may recommend one of the following decisions:
- Accept
- Accept with Minor Revisions
- Major Revisions Required
- Reject
Editorial Decision
The handling editor evaluates the reviewers' reports and issues the final editorial decision, which is communicated to the corresponding author together with the reviewers' comments.
Author Revision
When revisions are requested, authors must submit:
- A revised manuscript.
- A detailed response letter explaining how each reviewer comment has been addressed.
Final Verification
Before acceptance, the editor verifies that all editorial and scientific requirements have been satisfied.
The complete review process generally takes 4 to 10 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and manuscript quality.
All accepted manuscripts must receive two favorable external peer review reports.
The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not meet its scientific quality standards.
Reference Style (APA 7th Edition)
RIIDG requires all citations and references to comply with the APA Publication Manual (7th Edition).
This standard applies to both in-text citations and the final reference list.
Main Requirements
- In-text citations must include the author's surname and year of publication.
- References must be listed alphabetically according to the surname of the first author.
- Whenever available, the DOI must be included.
- If no DOI exists, the URL of the document may be provided when it is openly accessible.

Failure to comply with these formatting requirements may result in the manuscript being returned for correction or rejected after repeated non-compliance.
The use of reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote is recommended.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
The International Journal of Research and Global Development (RIIDG) does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, editorial processing, peer review, or publication.
The journal follows a Diamond Open Access publishing model, providing immediate and unrestricted access to all published content without charging either authors or readers.
Conflict of Interest Statement
Authors submitting manuscripts to RIIDG must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the preparation, submission, review, or publication of their work.
Conflicts of interest may include financial, personal, academic, institutional, professional, or commercial relationships that could affect the objectivity of the research or the editorial process.
Authors must disclose:
- Sources of research funding.
- Relevant institutional or contractual relationships.
- Consulting activities or commercial relationships related to the manuscript.
If no conflicts of interest exist, authors should include the following statement:
The authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest.
Editors and reviewers must likewise decline participation in the evaluation of manuscripts whenever a conflict of interest could compromise their impartiality.
Confidentiality, transparency, and editorial independence are fundamental principles governing the journal's editorial process.
Publication License
All articles published in the International Journal of Research and Global Development (RIIDG) are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license.
Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication.
Users are permitted to read, download, copy, and share published articles for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the journal, and that the work is not modified.
